A couple of years ago I found myself stuck in a total quagmire. At the time, I needed to run a background check on someone for personal reasons so I figured I would just jump on the internet and search the term, “background check” to find the best option. Once I did this, however, I found myself inundated with literally hundreds of sites all proferring to be the best possible option. They each seemed to offer the same guarantees and the costs were similar. I also found many advertisements for “free” background checks which is a whole other subject I have dealt with in a previous article. I have always been very cautious when making online purchases for intangible services due to all the scams you hear about (which are absolutely real) so I decided to do some digging. What I found was a lot of really angry people feeling they had been cheated and robbed in many cases. After a lot more research I also found a few really great services… but it was not easy!

At this same time I had decided it would be fun to learn how to build a website. So I decided to put these two tasks together and create a website to help people find the best available background check sites. I started by contacting all the different sites that advertised background checks and I told them I was creating a review site where I would rank the top services in their category based on thorough testing of what they had to offer. Luckily, they were all very happy to give me full access to their sites and I was able to run some very detailed comparative tests to see what each site really had to offer. This really opened my eyes as I discovered that all background check sites are not created equal… not even close. There were dramatic differences in the quality and cost of the different services and I was surprised to learn that the more expensive options were not always the best.

I am happy to share my results with anyone looking for an online background check for any reason. You can access my site for free and read the reviews and rankings I have created. The site is http://www.CompleteReviews.net. If you have any questions about background checks you are also free to email me at admin@completereviews.net and I will be happy to help you out . I have worked with hundreds of people and have been able to help them all.

If you are frustrated with all the options or if you have been burned by one of the lame scam sites, visit CompleteReviews.net or email me and I will be happy to help. In many cases, I have even been able to help people get full refunds on background checks they have already paid for but were not satisfied with as I have learned the ins and outs of their systems. I hope I can help you as I know how frustrating the process can be!

Is there a way to run a free background check?

So the most frequent question I get asked is, “How do I run a background check for free?”. My response has always been, “It is not possible”. And that has been the truth… until now. Under normal circumstances, background checks cannot possibly be free and I would advise everyone to be extremely skeptical and suspicious of any site advertising any type of background check for “free”. Most everyone who asks me about free background checks tells me that they have seen them advertised all over the internet but when they follow the link, they are required to pay. It is frustrating to see how many dishonest advertisers there are out there just trying to lure you in with false promises of a free product that does not exist!

So how is what I am about to tell you any different from all those other advertisements? Well, you will easily be able to tell for yourself. A new background check company called BeenVerified.com has launched a very innovative approach to online background checks. They provide a very easy-to-use interface and the results are posted instantly. They operate on an unlimited background check model meaning they are a subscription based service which allows you full access to their entire search capabilities for a set monthly fee. So how is this free? Well, they offer a 7 day trial of their service for free. This week-long trial is the only way you can currently run a background check for free. And, as the offer lasts for a full 7 days, you can run as many background checks as you want so it is really an amazing opportunity!!!

I personally signed up for the free trial and was very impressed with what they have to offer. First of all, their interface is unlike any I have worked with. It is very graphical and easy to use and understand. I also love the fact that your results are instantly available (I waited around a minute for the results to post on average). I was literally able to run as many background checks as I wanted any time of the day or night. They also have some great features that allow you to monitor people for changes to their background checks. A list of the background checks you have run is maintained so you can easily go back through the results you have already accessed.

How is the quality of the data?

One of the biggest complaints I hear about background checks is that there are mistakes in the data. This goes for all of the low-cost online background checks. This is due to the fact that the information these sites access ultimately originates from thousands of sources and some data entry errors will occur. There also is always the risk that data will be crossed between two users with the same name, from the same town. BeenVerified.com’s data is comparable to most other online background check sites. In my testing, there certainly were some mistakes but, for the most part, the data was accurate. I really liked they way they specifically handled criminal history data. They list the results in three categories: Likely Matches, Possible Matches and Unlikely Matches. Likely matches are criminal records with the exact same name and date of birth as the user you are searching on. Possible matches may only have a matching name or variation of the name with the same date of birth. Unlikely matches would include same name but different or missing date of birth. This allows you to personally assess how accurate you feel the data is. The great thing about a free trial is that, if you are not happy with the results, you can just cancel without any cost. With any other site, you will pay regardless of whether or not the results are satisfactory or not.

How does the free trial work?

So here is how the free trial works. You go to the BeenVerified.com site and enter the name of the person on whom you wish to run a free background check. A list of possible matches will be displayed with identifying information so you know you have the correct person. Then you will be given the option to “View Details Free” which, if you click the button will bring up a form to create an account. In order to sign up for the trial, they will ask you to enter a valid credit card. That does not mean it is not free! This is a necessary step as they must ensure you are at least a potential customer. They do not bill your card for anything during the trial though you may see a $2.00 charge that is then reversed. This charge is a way for them to make sure your credit card is valid. No actual charges are made unless you decide to continue with the service in which case you will start being billed after the trial period has expired. After your account is verified, you can login and begin searching away. Please note that, if you do not want to be billed for this product, you must make sure to cancel your subscription prior to the end of the 7 day period. They have a toll free phone number (1-866-956-6279) to help you in processing your cancellation or to help you with any questions about the product. They will even help you with a search if you are having trouble.

Conclusion.

I realize that, in the end this is not a truly free product. But, through the generous free trial program they offer, it at least provides you a way to perform a free background check whereas with other sites that is not a possibility at all. If free is all that matters then this is really the only option available at this time.

Note: If you are in need of a high end background check and are willing to pay, then please visit CompleteReviews.net to read reviews of the best available background check sites.

I am so excited to write about a background check company I just finished testing for the consumer review site CompleteReviews.net. My experience has been so amazing that they instantly shot to the top of my recommendation list. The site is ussearch.com. Now, just because I recently found them does not mean they are a new company. On the contrary, ussearch.com has been providing high-end people search and other advanced search services, such as background checks, since 1994.

One of the most impressive testimonials to the power of ussearch.com came from CBS News 60 minutes. In August of 2007, 60 Minutes ran a segment called, “Lost and Found” which documented the need to find relatives for children in the foster care system. They focused on a 13 year old girl who had been in foster care her whole life. The state considered this young girl to be a “cold case” due to their inability to find any blood relatives. 60 Minutes accessed ussearch.com and, starting with only the birth mothers first and last name, age and a city they think she lived in, they were able to find over 40 relatives in less than 2 hours. You can read the full article and watch the 60 Minutes segment here.

Another validation of the power of ussearch.com is a Wall Street Journal article entitled, “Investigating Online Private Eyes” which compared 4 of the most popular online background check services. The author, Jane Hodges, ran a background check on the same individual using each site and then compared her experiences. She stated that the results from ussearch.com were, “the most detailed in terms of delving into our subject’s history”. You can read the entire Wall Street Journal article here.

My personal experience with them has been impressive. They were kind enough to provide me with a sampling of each of the different types of default searches they provide. These are People Search, Reverse Phone Lookup, Email Search, Social Network Search, Property Records, Criminal Records and Background check. When testing I always run reports on the same set of individuals so as to best compare the experience and results with other providers. In every instance, ussearch.com outperformed their competitors. I can honestly say that theirs is the most user-friendly service I have yet encountered. Their website is very simple unlike others that have so much content it can be difficult to figure out how to do anything.

As you can see from the image to the right, the home page includes easy to access tabs for the default search options. You are then given the option to enter some basic search criteria such as First Name, Last Name and City/State. The only required field is Last Name but the more you enter the better chance you have of finding the person you are looking for. They also do allow you to search using a Social Security Number.

Once you have entered your basic information you simply click the “GO” button at which time you are taken to a screen with a list of possible matches. This list may be fairly long as it will include anyone who matches your search criteria. But ussearch.com ensures you run your report on the correct individual by including additional identifying information such as their age, places they have lived and people with whom they may be related. Once you find your match, you simply click the “Get Your Report” button and off you go.

If you have need of assistance, ussearch.com provides live phone support which is a rarity in online background check companies (most provide email support only and response times can be lengthy). They are friendly and professional in assisting you in any way possible.

Their pricing structure is extremely competitive with a basic background check costing only $14.95. They allow you to customize the information you want included in the report which allows you to save money by not paying for data you do not need.

So it is time for a reality check. As you can see from the number of comments posted on the article we released detailing how to cancel an Inteligator membership, there are a lot people feeling frustrated with the Inteligator product. We reviewed the signup and cancellation process provided by Inteligator and it seems to be fairly straight-forward but something is amiss if this many people are struggling with the concept of how to cancel a subscription. In our opinion, Inteligator needs to provide a better cancellation procedure so that their customers can easily end a subscription should they decide they no longer need to product. Other companies offer toll free phone numbers so that their customers can actually speak with a representative. This allows the customer to know for sure that their account has been terminated to their satisfaction.

Anytime you are dealing with a subscription based service, there needs to be a clearly defined way out for the consumer. If not, many customers will end up getting billed even while trying to figure out how to cancel. That is not in keeping with the spirit of honest consumerism! We therefore do not currently recommend Inteligator to anyone unless they clearly understand that this is a service in which you are enrolled meaning you will be billed every month for the contracted fee. This billing will continue indefinitely until you cancel your subscription. Please refer to our previous article, “How To Cancel Your Inteligator Membership“ for those exact steps which we gleaned from Inteligator.com’s own Terms page.

We clearly want to state that, despite the obvious confusion surrounding the cancellation process, every Inteligator customer that we have communicated with has succeeded in getting their account cancelled and any money refunded that was billed to them while they were trying to figure out the required procedure. We have not heard of any substantiated claim where Inteligator has failed to refund money in such a case. If this has happened to you please comment on this article or send us an email at admin@completereviews.net as we would very much like to hear from you!

A word on the Inteligator product itself. In our personal experience, has been a decent product. We were able to find a lot of good information on our test subjects. There were some data errors in some of the searches but no more than we have seen in comparable sites. All background check sites can have data errors as they rely completely on the end-source for the information they are reporting which can be a small court system in Wyoming. We also liked their interface which we felt was easy to use.

There is also one other complaint we are hearing; that people are being required to pay extra for certain information. This comes as a surprise when they thought they had paid for an “unlimited” search product. We researched this and according to Inteligator, the Unlimited Access is to a limited sub-set of information. Some of their customers have complained that this violates the spirit of the product they were sold. We looked at Inteligator’s Terms page, and in our opinion a scenario where a customer would need to pay extra for certain information is not clearly defined. They basically state that a subscriber is given, “unlimited and full access to search results and reports for all searches available in the InteliGator Advanced Member’s Area”. It goes on to list all the types of reports that are included in the Advanced Member’s Area and the list is fairly extensive. No where do we see any indication that some of your searches may take you to reports not covered by this advanced area but apparently that must be the case. We feel that Inteligator needs to clarify this for their customers in advance of them making a purchase so there is no confusion on what the term “Unlimited” means to both parties.

We will be communicating these points to Inteligator and hope it helps improve their product to a point where we can feel comfortable again recommending them to our readers. For now, we recommend you really read the Terms provided by Inteligator before you decide if this is the right product for you.

If you are specifically looking for an unlimited search product, you may want to consider other options and can read detailed reviews of the best unlimited search sites at CompleteReviews.net.

If you have questions or concerns, either post them as a comment to this article or feel free to email us at admin@completereviews.net.

I have had many people ask me how to cancel a recurring membership with Inteligator. Let me first say that, while Inteligator is a decent product for some people, it isn’t for everyone. If you only need to run one background check, then you ought to be using a service that charges on a “per report” basis. Inteligator offers unlimited access to their background checking site allowing you to investigate as many people you want for a monthly fee. This is perfect for someone who needs to run multiple basic background checks as it saves them hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

Unfortunately, I have noticed that some overly aggressive salespeople (in no way affiliated with this blog or me personally) have failed to mention that this is a recurring billing. Even though the fact that this is a product that bills customers on a monthly basis is clearly stated on the checkout page, many people have not seen or noticed that information. They do not realize they are being billed monthly until they see the charge on their credit card a month or two down the line. This creates some very unhappy customers!

So, for those of you seeking to cancel your subscription to Inteligator for whatever reason, let me walk you through the process. But before I d0 so, allow me to clarify that I DO NOT OWN Inteligator.com! I chose to write this article as a personal courtesy to the many people who have come to me seeking advice on how to cancel their monthly subscription to the Inteligator Unlimited Background check plan. I am not exactly sure why everyone isn’t simply asking Inteligator directly. But either way, I am happy to do all I can to help people understand what they need to do. No one should ever face a situation where they purchased an online product or service and then have no idea how to return the product or cancel the service.

As for the cancellation procedure itself, this has changed several times over the last couple years so you should be sure to visit Inteligator’s “Terms or Service Agreement” page in order to make sure you have the most accurate information. Following is some pertinent information from that page:

Terms of Purchase

Payment of fees for purchases of InteliGator services must be made with either a valid credit or debit card (Payment Information). If your Payment Information is insufficient, or not accurate, current, and complete, and you do not notify us promptly when such information changes, we may suspend or terminate your account and refuse any use of InteliGator.

You may choose to purchase a 3, 4, 7 or 14 day trial to InteliGator’s Basic or Advanced membership. If you decide to cancel within the trial period, you will only be

charged the trial period fee. To cancel during the trial period, contact InteliGator within the trial period by sending in your cancelation request to cancellations@inteligator.com. Please note that trial period fees are billed in advance; we will not refund the unused portion of your trial period.

Following the trial period, your membership fees (Fees) will be billed to the credit or debit card provided as part of your Payment Information on a one-time yearly or monthly recurring basis, depending upon your chosen membership level.

Inteligator has recently also provided a specific page on their website to assist their customers through the cancellation process. You can access that page by CLICKING HERE. According to what I read in Inteligator’s documentation, you must submit your cancellation request 24 hours before the deadline of either your trial or the beginning of your next billing cycle in order to avoid further charges. Personally, I think this is a bunch of garbage! You should never be required to submit a request to terminate a service 24 hours before the deadline! They should allow you to submit your request anytime prior to the actual deadline but that is how they do it so be warned!

I hope this information helps and welcome any comments, suggestions or questions. If you are serious about running a background check then visit CompleteReviews.net for reviews of the best, most legitimate background check providers on the internet.

Life demands so much of us and the need to keep our children safe and cared for often forces us to trust others with that care. You do all you can to ensure that you hire someone who will be kind and caring. But how can you truly know who that person is? What do they act like when you are away?

For so many of us, it is an unfortunate reality that we cannot be with our children as much as we might wish. Life demands so much of us and the need to keep our children safe and cared for often forces us to trust others with that care. I am intimately aware of the worry that constantly eats away at you when someone else is caring for your child… especially when that child is too young to tell you about how things are with their caretaker. You do all you can to ensure that you hire someone who will be kind and caring. But how can you truly know who that person is? What do they act like when you are away? Is there anything in their past that, if you were to know about it, would keep you from hiring them?

Fortunately, I found a way to dramatically decrease my risk level while increasing my peace of mind. It is by using online background check services. You may be tempted to stop reading at this point… you may think that it is too expensive or too hard to figure out… do yourself a favor and read on. You will be surprised at how easy this has become! When I first considered utilizing online background check services to ensure the safety of my daughter, I felt a little nervous… Was this an invasion of that person’s privacy? After much thought, I came to the conclusion that my daughter’s safety is more important than anything and outweighs all other factors. Plus, all a background check service does is search databases full of public record information… stuff we have a legal right to know! It’s not like you are hiring a private investigator to take pictures of them or dig through their trash (both of those are legal but start to cross my personal boundary into creepiness).

The background check services I use are extremely user friendly… you don’t need any technical ability at all! And it is completely anonymous. The person you conduct a background check on will never know the information was accessed. The best part is that you get to do it in your own home (assuming you have a computer with internet access) so nothing even passes through the mail… you can save or print the report yourself.

I believe this is a service that every parent should use regularly. If my child’s potential nanny has a felony record I want to know about it… even if it was dismissed. If they are being sued in court by some other parents, I want to know about it. All of this and more will be included on the background check report (if you use a valid service that is). First I will walk you through how to run the report and then I can offer some recommendations from my personal experience as to which services I think are the best.

How To Run the Background Check?

This is so simple it is almost not worth it for me to add steps but I will just so you see how easy it truly is…

Gather some basic data on the person such as first, middle (if possible) and last name, home and/or cell phone number, address, where they lived before, approximate age (you can just guess on this) and anything else you might be able to learn. Much of this could even be gathered through an application or the interview itself.

Login to your service (to be chosen later).

You will be presented with many different search fields. The more information you fill in, the easier it will be to narrow things down until you find the right Jane Doe.

Once you are certain you have found the correct person, you just click a button to run the report (this is where you generally are charged the fee which we will discuss later).

The report will be on your screen in moments with an option to print it out at your convenience.

How To Find A Reliable Service?

There are so many good and bad options out there. I have spent the last 7 months researching and testing background check services for a consumer review site (http://www.CompleteReviews.net). I tell you this so you know that I have personally tested every product recommended by CompleteReviews.net! The best place to start is probably to just read the reviews on the top ranked background check products. Those reviews are available by clicking here. These services are the best you can find! Each company has access to over 3 billion records. And one really important point is that the report you run will be nationwide. That way you don’t have to be concerned with not finding someone’s record if they just moved in from out of state. Once you find them in the system you will have their entire address history, court records (marriage, bankruptcy, law suits, etc), criminal record in any state (even juvenile offenses can be listed), and most important, nationwide sex offender registry search!

I also want to tell you about a company that is breaking new ground in the online background check marketplace. They offer an unlimited background check product that charges a monthly fee rather than a per search fee. Now if you only want to do a search on one or two people then go ahead and use the above link to the top 3 background check sites. But if you see yourself taking real advantage of this opportunity, as I have, to do all you can to ensure the safety of your family, then an unlimited product might be better for you. With unlimited background checks at my disposal, I check every teacher, the principle, anyone involved at a camp my kids might attend, adult babysitters, my children’s friend’s parents, etc. Basically, if she is going to be in significant contact with any adult, I take 5 minutes and make sure they are safe for her to be around. That is some serious parenting power! If you think this might be the right product for you then click here to learn more. It even comes with a 4 day trial period that only costs $4.95 so you can make sure it works for you and you can cancel at anytime (there are no pre-set requirements for how long you must be a member).

In the end, it is all about the safety of our children. Making sure your child’s nanny (or any in-home worker) is not a predator in disguise is your responsibility as a parent! We must take it upon ourselves to ensure that our children are completely safe! We have the tools at our fingertips to ensure that no predators slip through the system where they can have contact with our kids!

It’s that time of year again… When we send our young ones off to summer camps so we can get a mini summer break for ourselves.. oh, and so they can learn new things and make new friends as well! Some of my fondest memories from childhood surround those few weeks I would spend at various camps. Unfortunately, I also remember some pretty scary camp employees! We live in a time of uncertainty where it is becoming more and more difficult to trust those we charge with caring for our children. In today’s world, it is very hard to feel totally at ease when sending your child to any summer camp, whether it lasts one day or even two weeks. How do we keep our children safe when they are away?

I have found a way to dramatically decrease your risk level while increasing your peace of mind. Plus, all background check services do is search databases full of public record information… stuff we have a legal right to know! It’s not like you are hiring a private investigator to take pictures of them or dig through their trash (both of those are legal but start to cross my personal boundary into creepiness).

The online background check services I utilize are so easy to use… you don’t need any technical ability at all!

If my child’s camp director has a felony record I want to know about it… even if it was dismissed. If they are being sued in court by some other parents, I want to know about it. All of this and more is included on the background check report (if you use a valid service that is). First I will walk you through how to run the report and then I can offer some recommendation from my personal experience as to which services I think are the best.

How To Run the Background Check?

This is so simple it is almost not worth it for me to add steps but I will just so you see how easy it truly is…

Gather some basic data on the camp personnel such as first, middle (if possible) and last name, home and/or cell phone number, address (if possible), where they lived before (if they are new), approximate age (you can just guess on this) and anything else you might be able to learn. You should be able to simply ask for a list of employees and most camps will even include basic bios on their personnel.

Login to your service (to be chosen later).

You will be presented with many different search fields. The more you fill in, the easier it will be to narrow things down until you find the right John Smith.

Once you are certain you have found the correct person, you just click a button to run the report (this is where you generally are charged the fee which we will discuss later).

The report will be on your screen in moments with an option to print it out at your convenience.

How To Find A Reliable Service?

There are so many good and bad options out there. I have spent the last 6 months researching and testing background check services for an online consumer review site (http://www.CompleteReviews.net). I tell you this so you know that I have personally tested every product recommended by CompleteReviews.net! The best place to start is probably to just read the reviews on the top ranked background check products. Those reviews are available by clicking here. These three services are the best you can find.

The only service I might recommend besides those you can read about with the above link is one that I actually use. It is an unlimited search product that charges a monthly fee rather than a per search fee. Now if you only want to do a search on one or two people then go ahead and use the above link to the top 3 background check sites. But if you see yourself taking real advantage of this opportunity, as I have, to do all you can to ensure the safety of your children, then an unlimited product might be better for you. With unlimited background checks at my disposal, I check every teacher, the principle, anyone involved at a camp my kids might attend, adult babysitters, my children’s friend’s parents, etc. Basically, if she is going to be in significant contact with any adult, I take 5 minutes and make sure they are safe for my children to be around. That is some serious parenting power! If you think this might be the right product for you then click hereto learn more. It even comes with a 4 day trial period that only costs $4.95 so you can make sure it works for you and you can cancel at anytime if you no longer need the service (there are no pre-set requirements for how long you must be a member).

In the end, it is all about the safety of our children. Making sure camp personnel are not predators in disguise should be the responsibility of the camp itself. But we all know that sometimes that system fails us. We must take it upon ourselves to ensure that our children are completely safe while at camp! We have the tools at our fingertips to ensure that no predators slip through the system where they can have contact with our kids!

I believe this is a service that every parent should use regularly. If my child’s new second grade teacher has a felony record I want to know about it… even if it was dismissed. If they are being sued in court by some other parents, I want to know about it. All of this and more is included on the background check report (if you use a valid service that is). First I will walk you through how to run the report and then I can offer some recommendation from personal experience as to which services I think are the best.

How To Run the Background Check?

This is so simple it is almost not worth it for me to add steps but I will just so you see how easy it truly is…

Gather some basic data on the teacher such as first, middle and last name, home and cell phone number, address (if possible), where they lived before (if they are new), approximate age (you can just guess on this) and anything else you might be able to learn.

The report will be on your screen in moments with an option to print it out at your convenience.

How To Use The Information To Help Your Child?

There are so many ways to use the information you may find through the background check. Hopefully you didn’t find anything and you can sit back and feel completely comfortable KNOWING that you did all in your power to ensure your child’s safety. If, however, something does show up that makes you feel uncomfortable or even downright scared, you can do several things:

First you need to assess the pertinence of the information. Is it serious enough for you to take action? Always remember when going through this process that it is your child’s safety on the line.

If you feel that the information warrants action, the first thing to do is approach the principle with the report in hand. It is possible that they are unaware of information you found. Take the burden of action off your shoulders and put it were it belongs. But certainly request to have your child moved to a different class if you feel it is required.

In some cases, the information you find is serious enough that you would feel more comfortable having your child moved to another teacher but not bad enough to threaten the teacher’s career. In this case, just go to the principle and request a change. You can tell them that there is a personality mismatch or even that you have some information, which will remain confidential, that is prompting this request.

Again, the most important person here is your child!

How To Find A Reliable Service?

There are so many good and bad options out there. I have my personal favorites but they may not fit your specific needs. I have spent the last 7 months researching and testing background check services for an online consumer review site (http://www.CompleteReviews.net). I tell you this so you know that I have personally tested many different products and you can move forward with confidence on any product recommended by CompleteReviews.net! I think the best thing for you to do is simply check out the top 3 background check services. You can read all about them by clicking here. These three services are the best you can find. Each company has access to over 3 billion records. And one really important point is that the report you run will be nationwide. That way you don’t have to be concerned with not finding someone’s record if they used to live in another state. Once you find them in the system you will have their entire address history, court records (marriage, bankruptcy, law suits, etc), criminal record in any state (even juvenile offenses can be listed), and most important, nationwide sex offender registry search!

The only service I might recommend besides those you can read about with the above link is one that I regularly use. It is an unlimited search product that charges a monthly fee rather than a per search fee. Now if you only want to do a search on one or two people then go ahead and use the above link to the top 3 background check sites. But if you see yourself taking full advantage of this opportunity, as I have, to do all you can to ensure the safety of your children, then an unlimited product is for you. If you think this might be the right product for you then click here to learn more about it. It even comes with a 4 day trial period that only costs $4.95 so you can make sure it works for you.

In the end, it is all about the safety of our children. Making sure their teachers are not predators in disguise should be the responsibility of the school system. But we all know that too many bad teachers fall through the cracks. We must take it upon ourselves to ensure that our children are completely safe while at school. We have the tools at our fingertips to ensure that no predators slip through the system where they can have contact with our kids!

I have heard so many stories lately about innocent women (and men) who found out shocking things about their partners after months in the relationship… things that, had they known originally, would certainly have kept them from ever getting involved with that person to begin with. It is a sad statement on our society! It makes me scared to ever let me daughter date anyone… ever!

But of course I cannot keep her from dating… nor should I. Just because there are a few bad apples doesn’t mean that the whole bushel is spoiled. There are so many wonderful men and women out there. The trick is finding them, and knowing for sure that you did indeed find them.

The age of the internet has brought about some seriously amazing capabilities never even conceived of when I was young. The ability to run online background checks is one of those things! I honestly believe that divine providence was involved in the creation of these sites as they provide ammunition against the depraved evil that is out there trying to decieve innocent people.

Are Online Background Checks Immoral?

There are some who would answer “yes” to that question. I for one would disagree whole-heartedly. Online background checks are simply a tool to uncover that which should not be covered up in the first place. If someone is a registered sex offender, they must disclose that before dating a single mother of two young children. If someone has a criminal history of spousal abuse… that should be disclosed. It doesn’t matter that it is in the past… we are a summation of our past experiences.

Online background checks allow us to know for sure who it is we are falling in love with. We can know, without a doubt, that they are who they say they are and that there is nothing significant in their past that you don’t know about. In the beginning of any relationship, all the cards should be put on the table anyway. Both partners should openly share who they are so that true love can exist. If you go into a relationship with significant secrets, you will never achieve true happiness and love. There will always be something missing.

How To Conduct An Online Background Check

It may sound difficult but it is honestly about the easiest thing you can do on the internet. First of all, here is how these businesses work… The background check companies first gather tons of public data (most of it they must pay huge fees to access) like cell phone records, criminal records, court records, marriage records, etc. Then they build search interfaces (web sites) that allow users (you and me) to be able to easily search through the billions of records they have made available.

Here is the basic process for conducting a successful online background check:

1. Gather some basic information about your partner or perspective partner such as first and last name, cell phone number or address. I say “or” because you can conduct a successful search with only some of this information.

2. Logon to the online background check site of your choice (recommendations to follow) and enter what data you have into the provided search fields. All the services we recommend allow you to search on a variety of different facts.

3. Once you pay a minimal fee (usually less than $25) you will be presented with a full report on that person including their criminal history (even includes arrests and in most states juvenile arrests once they turn 18), court records (ie. bankruptcy, marriage records, etc), address history (including mortgage details (how much they owe on their home and how much they owe on a second mortgage if applicable), a nationwide sex offender registry check (just in case), and much, much more.

All of this is done in complete anonymity… there is absolutely no way they will know you ran this online background check unless you tell them yourself. You can run it on your home computer as long as you have an internet connection and print the report on your own printer so nothing comes in the mail.

Which Online Background Check Sites Should I Use?

This is where I can really help you! The background check business is booming. But with that boom come a lot of startup companies trying to get a piece of the pie without putting in the work (basically scammers). You do not want to get caught paying for a report that gives you their home phone number and address… like you don’t already know that!

I recommend using a consumer review site that specializes in public record search products. Based on their track record, we exclusively work with CompleteReviews.net. They dedicate hundreds of hours to researching and testing every kind of public record search site you could imagine. Once their testing is complete, the services that performed the best have the privilege of being ranked in the top 3 for their category.

Here is a direct linkto the online background check review where you can read about the top performing background check sites on the market. The review will show you how they work and give you comparative data such as pricing and features. You will easily be able to make an informed decision as to which site is right for you. And the best thing is, your decision can’t be wrong as every site they recommend is incredible (we know that from personal experience)!

So best of luck to you in your relationship! But if you take our advice, luck won’t be part of the equation, for you will have taken luck and background checked it away. You will be the smiling one, knowing your man or woman is the person of your dreams… just as you had hoped!

When you first meet someone that you really fall for, it is hard to think rationally. That’s why they say, ”love is blind”. Everyone has met someone that turned their world upside down. That feeling is simply incomparable. You feel like you’re walking in the clouds, you’re happy, excited and you feel like your’re 16 again. You find yourself smiling at nothing at all and you are so caught up in the way you feel that you wouldn’t know it if the world stopped turning. However, how do you know if that person is really who they say they are?

Did they give you their home phone number or is it just a cell phone number that you have? Have you been to their home? Do they ever have to leave suddenly when the two of you are right in the middle of something? If you stop and think about it for a few minutes, does it feel as if they are hiding something from you? Do you have an unsettled feeling when the date is over? You don’t want to think of the possibility of this person lying to you or being involved or, God forbid, married already. However, it happens every single day.

If you are unsure, there are a few things you can do to tell whether or not it is alright to continue on or if you need to have caution. Pay attention to the person. Do they act like they have other things to do? Are they always checking the time or do they always have to leave suddenly? If so, they may have lied to their families and have given themselves so much time to spend with you before they have to return to their ‘other lives.’ Have you met his or her family? If they have offered to let you meet their parents, siblings or other family, chances are they are not already involved. If it has been quite a while and they still haven’t offered for you to meet their family, you might want to use a bit of caution.

You do not have to take a risk. There are ways to find if you are safe in the relationship. CompleteReviews.net is a consumer review site that details the top investigative products on the market. With these services, all you have to do is enter their phone number or their address and you can find out all kinds of useful information. You will find out their home phone number and address if you don’t already have it. You can find their marriage or divorce certificates so that you know if they are married or not. You can find out if they have ever been charged with a crime and much more. This is one great way to ease your mind. If they are not married, perhaps it is just a fear of commitment or something else keeping them from having you over to meet their family. Either way, at least you will know that you’re not contributing to the pain of someone else. If you are in doubt, follow the advice and tips above so that you won’t have to worry and wonder any longer.
